Masks/Face Coverings Executive Order Revised (10/6/2020)

  • Upon entering RSU 57 property (parking lots, playgrounds, walkways, entryways, etc) all employees, parents, and visitors must wear a face covering at all times. “Gaitor style” face coverings and handkerchiefs/bandanas are not acceptable for use.  In addition, masks with exhalation valves or vents also cannot be worn.

  • As described in the U.S. CDC guidance, a cloth face covering covers the nose and mouth and fits snugly but comfortably against the side of the face; is secured with ties or ear loops; includes multiple layers of fabric; allows for breathing without restriction; and is able to be laundered and machine dried without damage or change to its shape.
